MBA program aims to transmit theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Georgia and Worldwide for interested people in the field of world business processes.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program aims to prepare highly qualified entrepreneurial-managers, who will turn troubled companies around and solve problems for private and public sector. The program provides a varied curriculum equipping the course participants with the necessary skills that are essential to the organization's goals, effective decision-making and proper management of existing resources.

After successful completion of the training, student will be awarded a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Advisory Board of the Direction of Business Administration

Business Administration Advisory Board is involved in development of business administration programs of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

The goal of the board is to support the high-quality education of business administration, at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. Business administration advisory board consists of national and international experts in the field of business administration, successful businessman and public figure;

The chairman of the board is Dr. Nikoloz Abuashvili.

Preconditions for the admission to the program:

Master program in Business Administration is developed for interested people, who already have higher education degree in any field, who are willing to expand their knowledge in the field of business administration.

Scholarships and Grants:

  • Medium and high-level managers - funding of 1000 GEL;
  • GIPA's successful graduates will receive individual fundings;
  • 500 GEL semester discount according to the academic achievement;
  • In the end of the program, the student with the highest level of academic performance will receive back 25% of the tuition fee - 3750 GEL.

Total Credits of the Program:

120 (ECTS) credits (104 credits - compulsory subjects, while the remaining 16 credits - elective courses).

The content of the course involves the synthesis of classical theory and practice. It includes presentations and analytical works, as well as the introduction of the principles of teamwork through group projects. Learning process has interactive lecture/seminar format.

The learning process is built on the principle of modular training:

  • Module 1 - The Basic Essentials 
  • Module 2 - Corporate Finance
  • Module 3 - Technology and Operations Management 
  • Module 4 - Market Development
  • Module 5 - Entrepreneurial Manager

After the first four modules students will prepare a Master Final Project, which will allow them to use gained knowledge into practice, make appropriate findings and analysis of how the real business process operates.

The final projects of each module:

  • Module 1: Business overview and analysis
  • Module 2: Business valuation
  • Module 3: Business processes analysis and improvements
  • Module 4: Marketing plan for the company

After the fifth module, students will work on the Master Thesis/Final Project, which aims developing strategy and preparing business plan to turn around troubled company and increase its value.

Duration of the program: 

  • 2 years;
  • Evening classes;
  • Lectures 3/4 times a week (2/3 working days (3 hours) and Saturday (6 hours);

Language of instruction:

  • Georgian;
  • The basic learning materials in English;
  • Communication with guest professors in English;
