Public Relations

Applicants interested in Master’s program in Public Relations should meet the following requirements:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Diploma or any other diploma equal to such;
  • Participate in the Unified National Exams, pass A test and overcome the minimum level
  • Interview with admission committee;
  • Pass English language exam B2 level.

Applicants should submit the following documents:

  • Application
  • Photo 3x4
  • Copy of Higher Education Diploma (Bachelor's Degree)
  • Copy of ID card
  • Copy of Unified National Exams card

Documents should be submitted at GIPA, School of Journalism and Media Management, from August 14- September 1; 12:00-19:00.

Master’s program in Public Relations aims at eqquiping graduates with creative communication skills, who can plan and successfully implement communication strategy with various Media means.

During studies through theoretical knowledge students are equipped with practical skills to operate effectively in the sphere of communication, public relations and marketing at public commercial and non-governmental sector.

Master’s program in Public Relations is functioning with great support of partner companies and is in compliance with experience of leading American institutions, such as School of Journalism and Mass Communication of South Caroline University,  IREX Georgia, Center of European Journalism.

[1] Credit  - the unit that defines the necessary academic load for students, expressed in the time unit of hour, and which can be obtained after achieving certain study results;

Tuition fee

Tuition fee for Public Relations Master’s program is 4300 GEL per year.

Entire amount is divided into four equal payments, for each semester.

Scholarship:

Each year two students with the best academic achievement are awarded with full scholarship.

State grant

Tuition fee for two years is 8600 GEL

In case of owning state grant (100%) a student pays 8600-4500=4100 GEL

Project for Socially Vulnerable Groups

GIPA together with Ministry of Education in Georgia has launched the joint social project . The main goal of this initiative is to increase education capacity for people with different  social status, to encourage them and to support integration process in civil society.

For these purposes students, selected from the following social groups will be paid tuition fee. This regulation refers to those individuals who participated in Unified National exams and has the following status:

  • Socially vulnerable
  • Ethnical Minority
  • Person with limited abilities
  • Internally displaced person
  • Groups with Georgian ethnicity (Lazi, deported Meskhi, etc, citizens of foreign countries who identify themselves as Georgian and have Georgian surnames or linguistic identity
  • Individuals living on occupied territories
  • Individuals living in mountainous regions of Georgia
  • Representatives of families with many children
  • Children or family members of individuals died in the war for territorial integrity
