Tamta Tvalaavdze is a Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellow at NED, Fall 2021, Washington DC, the U.S. She earned her MA degree in multimedia journalism and media management from GIPA and BA degree in journalism and mass communications from Tbilisi State University. She has over ten years of production experience in media and is a freelancer journalist and producer in the Caucasus Region. Has experience working with several media organizations in various positions: media monitor at the Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics, author of short documentary films. Tvalavadze cooperates with France 24, Radio Sweden, New Yorker, National Geographic Georgia, IWPR (Institute War and Peace Reporting).
In 2018, She co-founded multimedia outlet “Clickmedia”, which aims to provide an independent perspective on current events through innovative forms of storytelling. She is involved in coordinating and developing academic programs at Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management( CSJMM)
