Ph.D. in Political Science and M.A. in Public Administration (GIPA). Served as an analyst for National Security Council staff, foreign affairs assistant of Prime-Minister, director of Information Center on NATO (2002-2006). Also worked as a chairman of board for International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy and executive secretary for State Commission for Historical Truth (2010-2012). He is also an editor of GIPA Journal of Politics and Democratization (an academic journal). Has cooperated with a number of European think-tanks and online journals (European Council on Foreign Relations, International Politics and Society, Austrian Institute for Security Policy Analysis). He is an author of trilogy on diplomatic history.
