The Policy Research Center (PRC)

The Policy Research Center (PRC) represents a branch of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), which carries out research in political science. The PRC has the infrastructure needed for scientific research, which includes a unique library in the field of international relations, political science, and political economy. As well as access to the digital library such as JSTOR, EBSCO, Cambridge Journals, EDuke Journals, Royal Society Publishing, etc.

In the frames of the PRC, the Russian-Georgian conflict was analyzed in 2009, resulting in the publication of scientific research "Russian-Georgian Conflict: Causes, Outcomes, Perspectives". თhe "Journal of Politics and Democratization", an online magazine created in partnership with GIPA and Troy University (USA) in 2015 is administered by The Policy Research Center.

The PRC is working on the creation of „GIPA Incubator“ with the US Embassy and Idea Bank of Sorrell College of Business. The goal of the project is a promotion "Political Entrepreneurship" research topic; Creation of channels to exchange knowledge and information between the political entrepreneurs, members of academia and students; Establishment of a policy research laboratory (PRL).
