Program Engineering

The goal of the Master's program in Software Engineering is to prepare competitive software engineers equipped with modern knowledge and practical skills in the field of information technology and communication. Thee graduates of the program will be capable of responding to the dynamic demands of the field with innovative methods and approaches, contributing to the development of the industry, promoting the open and transparent dissemination of information, and upholding professional ethics in the job market. The program aims to develop professionals with systematic and in-depth theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice, enabling them to design and create high-performance, reliable, and scalable software.

Program Objective: To provide students with in-depth knowledge of the fundamental concepts, theories, methods, approaches, and international standards of software engineering, as well as the deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience required for designing high-performance, highly reliable, quality, scalable, and easily maintainable software in the field of technology. The program incorporates international experience, and the staff will develop practical skills in students needed for inclusive, user-oriented, high-quality, well-documented, and innovative software development.

Admission prerequisites and document submission for the program

Applicants wishing to continue their studies in the program must have certificate confirming they passed the general Master's exams. The Master's program in Software Engineering is designed for individuals who have already obtained higher education in any field and wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of software engineering. Accordingly, the essential prerequisites for admission to the Master's program are:

The internal university procedure consists of the following stages:

  • English language exam (B2 level)* - Applicants who present a relevant qualification certificate (TOEFL, IELTS) or have completed a Bachelor's or higher-level educational program in English are exempt from the exam.
  • Specialty exam* - The purpose of this exam is to assess the applicant's knowledge in the field of software engineering.
  • Sample exam questions (for both the English language and specialty exams) will be available on the university's website. 

Curriculum

The annual tuition fee for the program is 6,700 GEL, which can be paid in four installments (at the beginning of each semester).

In case of obtaining a full state grant (100%): 6,700 - 2,250 = 4,450 GEL
