Clinical Management
Program Objective:
The aim of the program is to provide participants with a broad understanding of the management processes of various types of medical institutions, based on existing policies and regulations in the country, and to equip them with practical skills related to managing medical institutions in the hospital sector.
After completing the course, participants will be able to actively engage in decision-making processes, professionally identify problems and effectively manage administrative and financial processes, quality and patient-centered service delivery in a medical institution.
The course is designed for managers employed in healthcare institutions or those wishing to work in the sector.
Program Content:
Masterclasses
During the program, participants will meet with senior managers from various clinics and discuss practical, management related case studies with them.
Assessments
Throughout the program, participants will develop various clinical service development plans and as a final project, present an individual project of clinic modelling.
Program Details:
Duration: 3 months (including final project)
Training Sessions: Two or three times a week, from 19:00 to 22:00 on working days and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays.
Language of Study: Georgian

Dea Nizharadze – Has 25 years of medical (clinical) practice and 20 years of managerial experience (14 years in the Ministry of Health). From 2012-2013, she served as the head of the Regulation Department at the Ministry of Health’s Department of Health Protection. She is an expert in healthcare legislation, regulatory mechanisms, and medical service quality and has worked as a consultant on medical projects for the U.S. Department of State and the European Union. Since 2012, she has been the Chief Doctor of the International Bacteriophage Center and the Medical Director of the Georgian-American Clinic. From 2018, she has been the Director of the Quality Development Department at Evex Corporation.
Ketevan Goginashvili – Holds a Master of Public Health (MPH). She has extensive experience in the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs, where she coordinated healthcare policy planning, development, and evaluation. For over a decade, she has led the preparation of the national health status reports, healthcare national accounts, and system efficiency assessments. She is also a World Health Organization expert on healthcare financing and national reporting systems.
Maia Kereselidze – MD, PhD, and head of the Medical Statistics Department at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. Since 1999, she has held leadership positions in medical statistics. Her recent focus has been on developing healthcare information systems, implementing data collection and analysis technologies, standardizing healthcare information, and improving death cause identification in Georgia. She has co-authored over 40 scientific publications.
Marine Baidauri - PhD in MD, she has extensive experience developing regulatory norms for medical institutions. She is the author and coordinator of infection control regulations and monitoring tools for medical facilities. Currently, she works as a leading specialist at the Health Protection Department of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
Tamar Dausi – Since 2013, she has been the Nursing Department Director at Evex Medical Corporation and, since 2016, the head of the educational department at the Public Nursing college of David Tvildiani Medical University. She is the founder of the Nursing Association “Neumann.” With 22 years of experience, she has worked in various medical institutions, including Princess Margaret Hospital (UK), and has over 12 years of experience conducting seminars and trainings.
Nino Abesadze – MD, PhD candidate at the University of Georgia, and Medical Director of MegaLab. With over 12 years of management experience and 10 years of teaching, she has worked at Evex Medical Corporation and has been involved in numerous laboratory-related regulatory projects in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she participated in the laboratory working group, helping to establish diagnostic algorithms for the virus.
Tina Turdziladze – WHO expert on pharmaceutical issues and head of the Pharmaceutical Management Master's Program. With qualifications in pharmaceutical policy, management, and international best practices (GMP/GDP/GCP/GVP), she has been leading the Healthcare Experts' Club since 2008 and is the author of several scientific papers.
Nia Giuashvili – Advisor to the Director-General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health and Quality Management Director at MediclubGeorgia. With a Master’s in Public Health, she has held leadership positions related to chronic diseases, environmental health, and epidemiological standards. Since 2018, she has been a member of the National Council for Infection Control and Antimicrobial Resistance.
Tinatin Gabrichidze – A doctoral candidate in public health at Tbilisi State Medical University, specializing in epidemiology and biostatistics. Since 2017, she has served as an epidemiology consultant and expert on various public health projects, including with USAID. She is also a co-founder and vice president of the Georgian Association of Epidemiologists and Infection Control Specialists.
Andria Urushadze – An expert in healthcare and social policy with 30 years of experience in government and international organizations. He served as Georgia's Minister of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs (2010-2012) and was the chairman of the Social Services Agency (2001-2010). He has worked as an international consultant in over 10 countries, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Moldova. He is the co-author of the book "Healthcare Reform in Georgia: Roadmap for Post-Semashko Countries and Beyond.
Program cost: 2100 GEL
Payment schedule: payment is made in 2 installments
I instalment - 1100 GEL (made at the beginning of the program)
II instalment - 1000 GEL (made during the first week of second month of study)
