Financial Management

GIPA's certificate program in financial management is designed for both - novice managers, planning to have a successful career without prior practical experience and current financial managers, aiming to deepen their knowledge in finances.

  • Money valuation, PV, FV, discounting
  • IRR, NPV, WACC, MIRR, What - if Analysis
  • IPMT,PPMT, NPER, RATE, effective and nominal percent
  • Fixed and variable costs, cost per unit of product
  • Profit and loss accounts, contribution format of P&L
  • Tendency and comparative analysis, ROI, ROE, ROS, ROA, debt ratio
  • PAYBACK PERIOD, business evaluation, business terminal value, Gordon model
  1. Statistics in Financial Planning
  • Currency risks
  • Sales forecasting and planning
  • Cost forecasting and planning
  • Budgeting
  1. Processing of Financial Information and Reporting
  • Preparation of profit and loss statements
  • Preparation of balance sheets
  • Preparation of cash flow statements
  • Preparation of financial statements
  1. Final project based on the passed modules, the participants prepare and present the final project / business plan.

Duration: 3 months (including final project). Two or three times a week, from 19:00 to 22:00 on working days and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays.

Language of Study: Georgian

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded with the Financial Management Certificate.

Certificates are graded and vary according to the participant’s achievements.

Prerequisites for receiving the certificate include: Receiving a minimum, positive grade in each module; Preparation and presentation of the final, individual project

Giorgi Turkia - Full professor in the field of economics. He has 20 years of lecturing experience in business management. He is an expert in business planning and management and provides consultations to government, private and international organizations. He is the initiator of several projects and a specialist of the National Examination Center group. Also, the author of four textbooks in the business direction, including the co-author of the books "Basics of Business" and "Business".

Julieta Gagloshvili - Doctor of Engineering in Informatics. Head of Computer Science  and Scientific Laboratory of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of Tbilisi State University. He is the co-author of many publications and a participant in scientific conferences. He has many years of experience working on and implementing projects in the field of information technology.

Nino Labadze - Holds a Master's degree in Financial Accounting and Auditing from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and is a member of ACCA. She has many years of work experience in various areas of finance, including accounting, tax audit, and financial audit. Her experience covers industries such as manufacturing, construction, trade, and various service sectors. Currently, she is actively involved in the implementation of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in companies.

Program cost: 1800 GEL

Payment schedule: payment is made in 2 installments

I instalment - 1000 GEL (made at the beginning of the program)

II instalment - 800 GEL (made during the first week of second month of study) 

Discount System 

The program includes individual discounts:

  • Graduates of GIPA - 10%
  • Family members studying on the same program at the same time - 10%

Corporate Discount:

In case if organization covers the personnel development costs, special discounts vary: 

  • two or three employees – 10%
  • four employees – 15%
  • five or more employees – 20%

*One person is eligible to receive one type of discount per program. 

Payment: The installments should be made on the organizational account. Personal ID number and name of the program should be included in the payment order.
