Child Psychology

The program is intended for people who are interested and want to understand the psychological features of raising a child. The main goal of the program is to develop the knowledge of the trainees in three directions – ensuring the health and safety of the child, preparing them as productive adults for real life and imparting cultural values.

After completing the course, the trainees will know the methods and approaches of child and adolescent (from 0 to 18 years).

Duration and format of  the program:   2 months, Training sessions will be held three times a week, from 19:00 to 22:00 on working days. The training will be conducted in the online format.

Language: Georgian, study materials are presented both Georgian and English.

Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, the participants will be awarded with a Child Development Certificates.

Mariam Alania - Doctor of Psychology. Since 2018 – Academic staff of the School of Social Sciences of the Georgian Institute of Affairs. Since 2017 she has been teaching the following subjects "Fundamentals of Psychology" and “Developmental Psychology”. Certified Therapist of Attachment-Oriented Therapy. 

Rusudan Samkharadze - Master of psychology. She has experience of working as a child and adolescent practicing psychologist from  2001 to present. Psychologist at NNLE "First Step in Georgia" - the Children's Early Intervention Program.

Program cost: 800 GEL

Payment schedule: Payment is made in 2 installments:

I instalment – 550 GEL (made after 1 week of study) 

II instalment – 250 GEL (made in second month of study)  

Discount System 

The program includes individual discounts:

  • Graduates of GIPA - 10%
  • Family members studying on the same program at the same time - 10%

Corporate Discount:

In case of organization covering the personnel development costs, special discounts vary: 

  • two or three employees – 10%
  • four employees – 15%
  • five or more employees – 20%

*One person is eligible to receive one kind of discount per program.

The installments should be made on the organizational account. Personal ID number and name of the program should be included in the payment order.
