GIPA GRADUATION 2018

On November 14th, GIPA Graduation ceremony was held at Tbilisi State Conservatoire.

23 years ago, the goal of GIPA was to import western knowledge in Georgia, which was successfully implemented throughout the years, with financial support of US embassy/Department of State. By raising leaders equipped with modern knowledge and loyal to democratic values, the university has significantly contributed to the country’s development, strengthening ideas of freedom in region.

This year 311 students graduated GIPA. Among them were the first alumni of BA program of Audio-visual and media art BA program of Business Administration, MA Program of Environmental Management and Policy.

The key note speakers congratulated the alumni with their welcoming speeches:

  • Maka Ioeliani – Rector, GIPA
  • Giorgi Margvelashvili – President of Georgia
  • Carl Hartzel - EU Ambassador to Georgia
  • Nino Tandilashvili -Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture
  • Irina Gorgiladze – Dean of School of Government
  • Bakur kvashilava – Dean of School of Law and Politics
  • Nestan Tsitsishvili – Dean of School of Social Sciences
  • Nino Ivanishvili – Dean of Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management

Rezo Kiknadze - Rector of Tbilisi State Conservatoire, performed with his musical band at the ceremony; guests from partner universities, diplomatic corps, public and private organizations also attended the event.
