On November 8, 2018, GIPA organized the Vocational Program in Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Technologies Open Door Day as a part of the activities of the Industry-led Skills and Workforce Development Project (ISWD). Development of the vocational program is being implemented with the financial support of the Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia.
The Open Door Day event was well attended by interested potential applicants, representatives of donor organizations, field experts, lecturers and members of the project implementing team, among others.
The Vocational Program in Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Technologies was introduced to participants by the members of the project implementation team and field experts who also spoke about the specifics of the industry and its important significance today.
The Open Door Day event was also attended by first- and second-year students of the Vocational Program in Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Technologies who introduced the latest training equipment acquired by the project and answered questions from potential applicants to the program.
