Exchange Programme at the University of National and World Economy (Sofia)

GIPA’s International Relations Department is announcing a call for selection of 2 best students to participate in the exchange programme at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE).

The call is open for Bachelor and Master students

Note: Please, be advised that in order to be eligible to participate in the exchange, students must have completed at least one-year full-time study as Bachelor student and at least one semester of full-time-study as MA student.

Recognition of Credits: Any academic credit that the student receives from the UNWE, will be transferred back to GIPA and recognized by the respective study programme.

Duration of Study: 
One semester (2019 Spring semester: 11 February - 16 June, 2019)

Tuition Fee:

In the frame of Partnership concluded with UNWE, GIPA students shall be exempt from paying tuition fees to UNWE. However, selected students should pay tuition fees at GIPA for the current semester.

Note: Each exchange student will have to cover international travel, accommodation, visa fee, living expenses and insurance!

List of requested documents:

  • Letter of Motivation (in English, not exceeding one page);
  • One letter of Recommendation (in English, with signature);
  • Transcript of Grades;

Interested students should submit the complete list of documents no later that 1 November 2018 at the following email:  n.bakradze@gipa.ge

Students selection process:

  • Review of the documents;
  • Interview with applicant in English language;

Selection Criteria: 2 best applicants will be identified in accordance with the following criteria: 

  • High GPA
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Recommendation
  • Applicant’s motivation
