Based on the Memorandum of Cooperation between the School of Government of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and Tbilisi municipal department of environment protection, four high-ranking students of the GIPA environmental management and policy master program started a 3-month practice program.
Students started their first working day with Giga Gigashvili, head of municipal department of environment protection, where he personally explained to students their duties and discussed future plans.
GIPA's environmental management and policy master program also actively cooperates with the Environmental Protection Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, and plans to send a second group of students in the near future for training.
