Final Conference of the Erasmus+ CBHE DUGEOR Project to Be Held in Tbilisi

On 2–3 September 2026, Tbilisi will host the final international conference of the Erasmus+ CBHE project DUGEOR – Strengthening Capacities for the Implementation of Dual Education in Georgian Higher Education.

The project organisers invite representatives of Georgian higher education institutions and the business sector to attend the conference. The event will provide stakeholders with an opportunity to learn about the results achieved within the project in advancing the implementation of dual higher education in Georgia, explore the pilot experiences, and discuss opportunities for further development.

One of the project’s key outcomes is the preparation of a legislative initiative for the implementation of dual higher education in Georgia. The project has also developed a General Model of Dual Higher Education and piloted dual education programmes at Georgian universities.

The conference will present and discuss:

  • The General Model of Dual Higher Education for Georgia;
  • Dual education models developed by Georgian universities;
  • Results and lessons learned from the pilot programmes;
  • Practical experiences of universities, companies, and students;
  • Quality assurance and sustainable development mechanisms for dual education;
  • Opportunities for the further development of dual higher education in Georgia.

The conference will provide higher education institutions and companies with an opportunity to learn about the project’s results and practical experiences, participate in discussions, and explore opportunities for future cooperation in the field of dual higher education.
