GIPA Students Participate in an International Scientific Business Hackathon

15 June, 2026

Four students from GIPA’s Business Administration Program, together with the Program Coordinator, Keti Gelashvili, are participating in the Scientific Business Hackathon organized by GIPA’s partner institution, the Prague University of Economics and Business. The event is being held in Armenia, specifically in the cities of Gyumri and Yerevan.

Organized within the framework of a joint research project, the international hackathon brings together students from leading universities in Georgia (GIPA), the Czech Republic, and Armenia. The project provides participants with an opportunity to work on real-world challenges, develop research and innovative approaches, and gain valuable experience in international teamwork and collaboration.

Notably, the GIPA students were selected to participate in the hackathon based on their successful performance in the international COIL project “Truth in the Age of AI,” implemented in partnership with Leiden University of Applied Sciences and supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

GIPA actively promotes student engagement in international initiatives and partnership programs and supports participation in projects that help students develop the knowledge, experience, and skills necessary to succeed in a global environment.
