With the aim of expanding partnerships with European universities and developing new opportunities, the Rector of the University, Maka Ioseliani, and the Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Nestan Tsitsishvili, paid a working visit to the University of Granada from May 25 to 29. A meeting was held with the Rector of the University of Granada, Professor Pedro Mercado, and the Director for Internationalization, Irene Pedreira Romero. The parties discussed opportunities for strengthening the existing cooperation between the universities and developing new directions.
The delegation also met with the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Granada, where they discussed the possibility of offering a double degree program in Political Science. Furthermore, during the meeting with the Head of the Modern Languages Centre at the University of Granada, the sides touched upon the initiative of establishing “Spanish Language and Culture Corner" at GIPA, and “Georgian Language and Culture Corner" at the University of Granada.
