Working meetings are underway at GIPA within the framework of the U.S. Embassy’s “University Capacity Building Program” (UCBP)

As part of the U.S. Embassy’s “University Capacity Building Program” (UCBP), a series of working meetings has commenced at GIPA. The current working week is dedicated to discussions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and LegalTech, which will continue through May 22.

The meetings are led by Christian Turner, Associate Professor at the University of Georgia (USA), and involve representatives of GIPA’s academic, invited, and administrative staff.

The program will cover the following topics:

  • Developing a university AI policy
  • Strengthening staff capacities
  • Using AI in research activities
  • Exploring the possible integration of AI-related components into law program syllabi

The aim of the “University Capacity Building Program” (UCBP) is to strengthen the research, administrative, and entrepreneurial capacities of higher education institutions in Georgia. The initiative is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Georgia and administered by the American Councils for International Education.
