Ambassador Pavel Herchinski, Head of the European Union Delegation to Georgia, visited Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and met with the Rector, academic staff, and students of the university. The meeting was attended by GIPA students who have already returned from leading European universities, as well as students who will depart for the fall semester within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
The meeting was held as part of the annual “Europe Day” events. The Ambassador focused on the process of Georgia’s European Integration and existing challenges, the importance of educational programs, and the role of young people in the country’s democratic development. The meeting was moderated by Mr. Mikheil Darchiashvili, Professor at GIPA.
It is noteworthy that since its establishment, GIPA has been actively working to strengthen cooperation with international partners and continuously offers students modern exchange opportunities. Today, the university cooperates with more than 50 leading European universities and offers up to 80 academic programs.
Since 2018, more than 620 GIPA students have benefited from international exchange programs. The university will continue to seek new partnerships and further strengthen its international portfolio in the future.
