On March 13, students of the Higher Vocational Program in Renewable Energy Management visited the Kartli Wind Power Plant as part of a study tour.
The practical meeting was held within the framework of the Wind Energy Projects module. During the visit, students received information about the plant’s technical characteristics, the possibilities of utilizing wind resources, and the processes of integration into the energy system.
GIPA’s partner organization, LLC “Kartli Wind Power Plant,” is the first commercial wind power plant in Georgia and represents an important component in the development of renewable energy and the strengthening of the country’s energy independence.
