On September 3–4, 2025, Nani Macharashvili (Head of the Research Department) and Nika Gigauri (Research Officer) represented GIPA at the third international management meeting of the EU-funded ETHICS project.
Hosted by Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, the event was opened by project managers Tomáš Foltýnek (Masaryk University, project partner) and Ketevan Darakhvelidze (Chancellor of Ilia State University, project leader). The consortium partners gathered to discuss the project's ongoing progress and share updates from their working groups. Key presentation topics included doctoral program accreditation, policy document development, the piloting of the new ethics module, and strategies for strengthening the role of university ethics officers.
conclude the productive two-day event, the participants outlined the action plan for the project's third year, reviewed external evaluation feedback, and strategized for the project's final conference and dissemination efforts.
