24 February, 2026

A working visit to Benevento (Italy) was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project INSPIRE-U. The project aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of Ukrainian refugee women and women engaged in STEM fields, and to support their economic empowerment.

Within the INSPIRE-U project (which brings together partners from Italy, Germany, Sweden, and Poland), GIPA holds the role of WP5 leader, which involves the development of the training model, practical activities, and impact assessment mechanisms. The project plans to train 200 women in entrepreneurship and innovative thinking.

On behalf of GIPA, Vano Tsertsvadze, Head of the Bsiness Administration Program and Nikoloz Parsadanishvili, Associated Profefsor attended a series of working meetings were held with partner universities, where we discussed:

  • The structure of the training programmes and quality assurance mechanisms
  • Strategic approaches to women’s empowerment
  • Ensuring project sustainability and measuring results

At the same time, the visit was important in terms of establishing new academic and institutional contacts. Beyond the INSPIRE-U project, the meetings created additional opportunities that are expected to contribute to future student exchange programmes, joint initiatives, and broader international cooperation.

The days spent in Benevento were marked by both intensive working sessions and the discovery of new opportunities, further strengthening GIPA’s international position and partnership network.
