The final meeting of the project “Nature-Based Solutions for Strengthening Community Resilience to Climate Change–Induced Disasters” was held in Batumi

GIPA, together with its partner organization ECOLUTION, organized the closing meeting of the project “Nature-Based Solutions for Strengthening Community Resilience to Climate Change–Induced Disasters” (NBS-CORES) in Batumi. Representatives of partner organizations and beneficiaries attended the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the project activities, share key results and achievements, receive feedback from beneficiaries, and discuss next steps for integrating NBS approaches into local policy and practice.

During the meeting, the NBS Action Plan developed for Keda Municipality within the framework of the project was presented, along with a corresponding guide for municipalities aimed at supporting beneficiaries and local governments in planning and implementing NBS solutions. At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.

The project is co-funded by the Black Sea Basin Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027 (Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021–2027).
