The Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), in partnership with the leading personal data protection consulting company Privacy Logic Group (PLG), announces admissions for the first Professional Certificate Program in Personal Data Protection. This program represents another synergistic initiative between academia and practicing experts at GIPA, guaranteeing the highest quality of instruction and full alignment with modern standards.
The Program is an excellent example of an exclusive collaboration between the GIPA Training and Consulting Center and the personal data protection consulting company Privacy Logic Group (PLG) and was developed in response to the ongoing legal transformations in the country. In particular, the existing legislative framework in the field of personal data protection has created a growing demand for professionals capable of aligning data processing practices with European standards (GDPR). The program aims to prepare individuals and organizations to balance technological progress with the protection of fundamental human rights at the international level.
The goal of the program is to equip participants with practical knowledge and essential skills to establish and effectively manage personal data protection standards within their organizations. It is designed for individuals responsible for data protection - Data Protection Officers (DPOs), as well as for professionals whose work involves the legal, technical, and administrative aspects of data processing (including representatives from legal and compliance, human resources, marketing, and other departments).
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will gain a competitive advantage in the labor market. Graduates will be able to pursue positions such as Data Protection Officer (DPO), compliance specialist, legal advisor, or data protection consultant across various sectors, including finance, telecommunications, healthcare, technology, and international organizations.
The program starts on March 10, 2026. The registration deadline is February 27, 2026.
