GIPA successfully completed the certified training course on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). The training course comprised the environmental specialists, urban planners, local government staff from Ajara A.R, and project managers working in ecology, geology, and regional development.
The program combined theoretical and practical components aiming to transfer modern knowledge and practical skills in nature-based solutions. The course covered methods of using NBS approaches to increase climate resilience and disaster risk reduction.
The one-month professional development program was implemented under the EU co-funded project "Nature-Based Solutions to Increase Community Resilience Against Climate-Induced Disasters," supported through the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
