Training “TheSIS-Supervision of graduates during the preparation of Diploma”

On 21th of December, 2019 Training and Consulting Centers structural unit Teaching Excellence Center (TEC) of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) conducted a Training “TheSIS-Supervision of graduates during the preparation of Diploma” in Frontline Georgia. TEC provides short-term trainings for Universities academic and invited staff in different directions and aims to improve their teaching methods and professional development according to their needs and requirements.

The training “TheSIS-Supervision of graduates during the preparation of Diploma”was delivered by trainer – Tinatin Gvenetadzde. The purpose of the training was to discuss and share the components of supervision of graduates during the preparation of Diploma, such as: Drafting and maintaining communication templates and deadlines while working on a thesis; Establish and maintain relationships between supervisor and student; Offering ideas or resources based on required literature and sharing moral values while working on a diploma. The training was conducted in a monologue format, which was loaded with practical work and interaction.
