On November 20 -22, 2019 the project Piloting Modern Trading Opportunities in Agriculture through Creation of Innovative Online Platform – AgroNet, participates into the international exhibition for Agro, Food and Drink Products, Packaging and Processing Equipment – 2019, with the aim to introduce potential users, consumers, farmers, agricultural cooperatives, wholesalers, exporters, retailers, processors and other enterprises with online platform www.agrodeals.net and to increase cross border trading opportunities and modernization in the agricultural and connected sectors. The development of this innovative online marketplace as an effective and operational platform will be of direct benefit to deferent agriculture and trade related public and private sectors.
Levan Davitashvili, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia opened international exhibition. The opening speeches also were given by the Ambassadors of Turkey and Belarus to Georgia and representative of Embassy of Italy to Georgia.
Agro/Food/Drink/Tech Expo Georgia provides ideal opportunity for the providers of the agricultural products, technologies and services to meet with Georgian farmers, enterprises and state representatives, exchange valuable information and negotiate agreements.
The project Piloting Modern Trading Opportunities in Agriculture through Creation of Innovative Online Platform – AgroNet project is being implemented by the Department of Rural Development and Vocational Education (DRDVE) of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), in partnership with ELVA Community Engagement (Georgia), Varna Economic Development Agency (Bulgaria) and SMART Development Center (Romania).
