On June 18, 2019, at Holiday Inn Tbilisi, Department of Rural Development and Vocational Education of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (DRDVE of GIPA) organized the second stakeholder meeting of the AgroNet project. The meeting aimed to introduce online platform AgroNet related issues to beneficiaries of the Agricultural Projects’ Management Agency (APMA) and AgroNet other stakeholders.
The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between DRDVE of GIPA and APMA, as well as its beneficiaries have been signed aiming to cooperate in promoting the platform and sharing experience.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia (MOESD); Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA); Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; APMA and its beneficiaries – Agro-business Operators.
The project is being implemented by the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) in partnership with Elva Community Engagement (ELVA), Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA) and SMART Development Center.
Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 is co-financed by the European Union through the European Neighbourhood Instrument and by the participating countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
