Makhare Atchaidze

Makhare holds B.A. in Sociology and M.A. in Sociology of Culture and Media from Tbilisi State University. He is currently studying for his PhD in Sociology of Culture and Media at the TSU. With five years of experience as a researcher at CRRC-Georgia, he possesses a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research, encompassing responsibilities such as designing research tools, processing data, and conducting data analysis. He has overseen, conducted, and actively participated in more than 60 research projects. His primary roles as a researcher include contributing to the development of survey designs and instruments, performing interviews and moderating focus group discussions, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. Additionally, he has conducted training sessions for interviewers, supervised fieldwork, conducted database cleaning, authored reports and blog posts, and crafted data visualizations. Since 2021, he has also served as a visiting lecturer.

  • Practical course of quantitative research;
  • Quantitative data analysis using SPSS;
  • Quantitative research methods and statistics.
