Nino Tabeshadze

Nino Tabeshadze is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience (more than 10 years) in culture studies, political science and data analysis. She is currently a Research Assistant at the Swedish Defence University and a lecturer at Karlstad University. With a PhD in Culture Studies from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a master’s degree from Örebro University, she has held multiple teaching and research positions across Sweden and Georgia, including at Tbilisi State University (Georgia), Hyper Island (Sweden) and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Her expertise extends to policy analysis, strategic communication, and intercultural studies, evidenced by her work on projects funded by UNDP Georgia and the Swedish Institute. She has authored numerous publications on post-war narratives, strategic communication, and international conflicts, with her research featured in various academic journals. A multilingual professional fluent in Georgian, English, Russian, French, and Swedish, she is also an active participant in international conferences and teaching programs across Europe.
