A brief description of the experience

PhD candidate in social sciences. Master of Military Studies, US Marine Corps University. His practical experience is related to various command and managerial positions in the Ministry of Defense and Defense Forces of Georgia. He has 18 years of experience serving in command and leadership positions in various departments of the Ministry of Defense, as well as in professional military schools. Actively participates in various scientific conferences on the following topics: defense and security, conflict analysis and management, organization development, leadership. He is an academic staff as well as an invited lecturer in several universities, in particular he gives lectures on both English and Georgian language programs. Actively works on the development of defense and security strategic documents at the national and agency level, in particular on the concept of total defense and interagency plans for the development of national resilience. He is involved in the transformation and organizational development working group of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, in particular he leads the development of the concepts of national resilience and resistance at the agency level. Leads interagency symposiums on national resilience and security architecture development. As the head of the strategic planning division, he directs the development and modeling of the operational concept and operational defense plans of the defense forces. It is worth noting that from April 15 to November 23, 2019, he commanded the 43rd battalion in the "Resolute Support Mission" conducted under the NATO mandate, Bagram Air Base, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He is a participant of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war and the owner of many agency level and national awards.
