The Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek

The Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (UNIOS) is a public university in Osijek, Croatia, and the leading higher education institution in the Slavonia region. Founded in 1975, it is one of Croatia's largest and oldest universities, offering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs through its 11 faculties, Academy of Arts and Culture, and several academic departments.

Named after Croatian bishop and educator Josip Juraj Strossmayer, the university is recognized for its strong academic tradition, research, and international cooperation.
