The Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IPL) is one of Portugal’s largest public higher education institutions, based in Lisbon. Established in 1986, IPL brings together several schools and institutes with long-standing academic traditions, some of which trace their origins back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
Built upon a rich heritage in fields such as business, engineering, music, theatre, dance, cinema, education, health sciences, and communication, IPL combines tradition with innovation to provide high-quality, professionally oriented education. The institution was created to promote effective resource management and support human development across a wide range of disciplines.
Today, it offers undergraduate and master's degrees, as well as doctoral programs in partnership with universities, across diverse areas including arts, business, communication, education, engineering, and health sciences.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in June 2025.
Fields of cooperation: All disciplines.
