The Kielce University of Technology (KUT), established in 1965, is one of Poland’s leading technical universities, with a rich academic heritage rooted in the Kielce region’s long tradition of higher education and engineering excellence. Its historical foundations can be traced back to the early 19th century, when the School for Academic and Mining Education was founded in Kielce, becoming one of Poland’s first institutions dedicated to engineering education.
Over the decades, KUT evolved from a regional engineering school into a modern university, gaining university status in 1974 in recognition of its achievements in research, education, and cooperation with industry. Today, the university offers a wide range of programs in engineering, technology, management, computer science, and applied sciences, supported by modern laboratories, research centers, and strong industry partnerships.
Known for its commitment to innovation, scientific research, and practical education, KUT has earned the right to award doctoral degrees in several engineering disciplines and actively participates in international academic and research initiatives. Since Poland’s accession to the European Union in 2004, the university has expanded its global engagement, providing students with access to international projects, exchange opportunities, and advanced research collaborations.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in May 2025.
Fields of cooperation: All disciplines.
