On January 30 th GIPA hosted the Executive Head of Public Service Bureau - Maia Dvalishvili.
The topic of discussion was “Challenges and New Directions of Public Service Reform”;
problems and new approaches to solving them.
Maia Dvalishvili talked about the stages of the project about concept of the reform, the steps
that lead to future goals and objectives. The students also participated in the discussion; the
overviewed how well-formed is the HR in public services, problems of nepotism and the
opportunities in further carrier development, how fair is of salary system classified and
compared the Georgia Public Service to Euro Atlantic Public structures.
