Master’s Programme in Applied Psychology at GIPA

A master’s programme in Applied Psychology offered at the School of Social Sciences of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) prepares the graduates of psychology (MSc in Psychology 0707) with a specialisation in Political Psychology and Management/Organisational Psychology.

This two-year programme represents a synthesis of theoretical and practical courses divided into four semesters. Classes are mainly taught in the evenings.

Programme requirements:

  • Bachelor’s diploma or an equivalent academic degree in Psychology; or a bachelor’s diploma in a related field with a minor specialisation in Psychology (60 credits), or a certificate of GIPA’s preparatory course in Basic Psychology;

  • A score in the Unified Post-Graduate Examination exceeding the defined threshold;

  • Knowledge of English at least at the intermediate level;

  • Successful completion of internal university procedures;

  • Successful completion of the written examination in the English language;

  • Successful interview with the admissions committee in Georgian and English languages.

Annual Tuition fee is GEL 3500.

The fee is to be paid in several instalments according to semesters.

  • Motivation letter;

  • Picture (3X4);

  • Copy of an ID;

  • A copy of a bachelor’s diploma or a document certifying the completion of a bachelor’s programme along with the diploma appendix (transcript of records).

Documents are to be submitted from 29 August to 7 September, between 12:00 and 17:00, at the address - Ortachala, 101 Gorgasali Street.
