Georgian Institute of Public Affairs School of Law and Politics and Masaryk University (Czech Republic) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2014. Apart from holding a variety of scientific and educational activities, the memorandum foresees exchange programs for both faculty and students.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, GIPA’s professors Levan Nanobashvili and George Khatidze conducted lectures at Masaryk University in Media Law and International Investment Law in 2014-2015 years. In September 2016, two students: Mariam Sharangia and Tamila Imedashvili will travel to Czech Republic and study for a semester at Masaryk University Faculty of Law.
Masaryk University is the second largest university in Czech Republic. It was founded in 1919 and currently has 35000 students.
