On 29 May, as a part of the GIPA Support initiative, students of GIPA’s master’s programme in business
administration visited Ia Nikoladze’s household.
The household has three children, one of whom has a severe Asthma and the family has no means of
covering the treatment. The family lives in extremely harsh conditions – the house is very damp, wall are
covered with mould, there is no electricity and gas in the rooms. The child has frequent asthma attacks
and each time the family is forced go to a guard’s cabin with the child in order to plug in the inhalator.
At the current stage, family had an urgent need for medications and provisions. In result of the efforts of
the MBA students, medications, foodstuffs, clothing and toys have been gathered and given to the family.
Business administration students along with other students of GIPA plan to pursue such charity initiatives
in the future as well.
