On 22 April, students of the GIPA’s certificate course in Pharmacy Management and Pharmaceutical Care met with the Head of the State Regulation Agency for Medical Activities at the Ministry of Labour, Health of Social Affairs of Georgia – Davit Macharashvili. At the meeting, Mr Macharashvili discussed multiple factors of an efficient, timely and accessible treatment, specifically: policies of medicine regulation, quality, efficiency and safety of medicines in Georgia and an efficiently functioning healthcare system. The meeting was concluded with a discussion which raised several important topics, such as: production of medications, clinical studies, activities related to the realisation of medicines, etc.
