On 26 April, the Executive Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation – Georgia, Magda Maghradze met with students at GIPA’s Frontline Club Georgia. GIPA lecturers and administration staff were also attending the meeting. The guest speaker talked about the second compact of the Corporation which includes the education direction. As noted by Magda Maghradze, the current project seeks to combat poverty in Georgia and foster economic growth through increasing the quality of secondary, technical, vocational and highest education. The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) based in the USA allocated 140 million USD for the implementation of the project. The meeting was concluded with a Q&A session and students were actively involved in the discussions throughout the meeting.
