In the frames of the GIPA SUPPORT initiative, the Institute joins the charity campaign to help the Ilia University staff member Mari Burduli. On 20 March, from 13:00 to 18:00 National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will host an exhibition and a sale of the pictures taken by GIPA students. All funds raised through the sale of the exhibited pieces will be transferred to Mari Burduli. At the same day, attendees of the event will have an opportunity to purchase the books by Giorgi Kekelidze. Mari Burduli is an employee of Ilia University, she is 32 years old and is the mother of infant triplets. Two years ago she was diagnosed with choroidal malignant melanoma. The disease is progressing fast posing the need for immediate treatment. Donations in support of Mari can be made through the websites WeHelp.ge and gofundme.com.
