On 8 March, students of the master’s programme in business administration visited the shelter for the elderly – My Family and congratulated the ladies living in the shelter on the International Women’s Day.
The shelter which houses 5 elderly women, was opened by Maia Akhaladze in her private home. The only income of the senior residents is the pension and social assistance.
The said activity was organized in the frames of the GIPA Support initiative. Students presented sweets, flowers and objects of daily needs.
GIPA’s staff plans to continue organising similar charity events in the future as well.
