On 30 December, GIPA’s staff visited the shelter for the elderly My Family and wished a happy new year to the ladies living there. The shelter which houses five senior ladies was opened by Maia Akhaladze in her private home. The only income of the elderly residents is the pension and social assistance.
Funds raised through GIPA’s Christmas market were entirely donated to the shelter for the elderly.
GIPA’s staff plans to continue organizing similar charity events in the future as well.
