On 12 December, in the frames of a certificate programme in marketing, GIPA’s Training and Consultation Centre organized a culinary master class in marketing. As a part of the module in stress and self-management, students of the certificate programme in marketing delivered a creative presentation in which they became cooksthemselves. They put together a menu on their own, prepared and decorated various dishes.
The goal of the master class wastowin back the money invested by GIPA in the organization of the event through the realisation of produced goods by the students. Students were divided into groups and their success was evaluated based on their presentation, prepared dishes and the amount of the returned money. The following guests were invited to assess the work of groups: Bakhva Bregvadze (Creative Director of CulinArt), Keta Lomidze (General Director of CulinArt), Meri Gubeladze (Host of the TV programme “Skhva Shuadghe”) and lecturers of the Marketing programme.
GIPA’s 6-month certificate programme in Marketing was established in 2013. In the course of the programme, GIPA’s lecturers with many years of practical experience in the field share with the students their expertise and develop their competencies in the following directions: organizational vision on marketing, successful strategy and advertising campaign, communications, self-management, management of sales and the analysis of consumers’behaviour, conducting negotiations, behaviour of competitors, management of marketing channels, product development.
