Frontline Club hosted a discussion on the topic of municipality services

Frontline Club held a discussion on the topic of municipality services with the participation of local self-government representatives, experts and GIPA students.

The discussion held on 9 November 2015 at the Frontline Club concerned early childhood education. Among the invited guests were the Head of Tbilisi Kindergartens Management Agency, Temur Tordinava, representative of the association Portage Khatuna Dolidze, Director of the organization Civitas Georgica, Giorgi Meskhidze. The meeting was organized by GIPA’s local self-government center and the research center. The discussion covered a range of interesting topics such as the management of state kindergartens, the mechanism for the admission of children, optimal ratio of caregivers and children, nutrition control and monitoring. Additionally, guests elaborated on the challenges of early childhood education – ways of raising qualifications of the kindergarten caregivers, introduction of inclusive education on a large scale, the quality of the new legislation.
