On 25 October, at the hotel Lopota lake Resort & Spa, graduates of the PR and Event Management course of the GIPA Training and Consultation Center organised training - Service as an Integral Part of a Brand. The training was conducted by the lecturer and consultant of GIPA in branding – Levan Koberidze.
The objective of the seminar was to gather hotel managers and public sector representatives of Khakheti region and discuss with them the quality of service as a defining aspect of sustainable tourism. At the end of the seminar participants developed a unified action plan for the improvement of service in the hotels of Kakheti
Along with the top managers of 22 leading hotels of Kakheti, the event was also attended by the First Deputy Director of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Rusudan Mamatsashvili and the Tourism Department Head of Telavi Municipality, Manana Inashvili.
“Many thanks to the students of GIPA for this initiative, National Tourism Administration welcomes seminars of this kind and will support them in the future as they foster development of the private sector and increase its role.” – noted the First Deputy Director of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Rusudan Mamatsashvili.
Sales Manager of the hotel Lopota Lake Resort & Spa, Maka Chikoidze added that a lot remains to be done for the improvement of services in Georgia. “Lopota will always be willing to host and support such initiatives in furtherance of our common goal to collectively improve service and create a better environment for visitors.”
The event was organised in the frames of the project “GIPA Support” which strives to bring different social problems to light and look for the ways of solving them. The business and creative laboratory functioning as a part of the project involves GIPA lecturers, experts of various fields and directions, graduates and students.
