Rebranding of the State Silk Museum

15 October, 2015

On 12 October, the State Silk Museum hosted a presentation of rebranding projects for the museum.

The principal objective of the projects is to rebrand the State Silk Museum and develop a communications strategy to increase the visibility of the museum and attract tourists locally as well as internationally. The project is implemented by graduates of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) training center

“I have great expectations for this day and look forward to see the product of young professionals’ vision. I hope that GIPA students will breathe new life into this museum,” – noted the Director of the museum, Nino Kuprava.

On 5 October, Tbilisi Development Fund signed a project for a full restoration and rehabilitation of the historic building in which the museum is situated. Therefore, the implementation of the museum rebranding project is of utmost importance - the renewed museum will have a need for a modern communications strategy.
