Professor of Copenhagen Business School, Poul Fritz Kjaer visits GIPA

On 6 October GIPA hosted the Professor of Copenhagen Business School, Poul Fritz Kjaer.  

During the meeting,Professor  Kjaer talked about such topics as Good Governance, Formality and Informality in Transition Societies, the definition of a modern state: a legal/social theory perspective on what we understand by a modern state dealing with such figures like Kant, Hegel, Tocqueville etc.

Professor Kjaer is associated with the Copenhagen Business School since 2013. During the long term professional career he has worked on such research topics as European Integration, Governance and Political Economy, Social Theory, Sociology of Law, Economic Sociology, Constitutional Theory, Global Governance and Historical Sociology.
