EU Association Agreement - Perspectives and Challenges

On 22-23 May of the current year, International Black Sea University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), Information Centre on Nato and EU and Young Diplomats’ Club of Georgia jointly organize the 10th Silk Road International Conference – “EU Association Agreement – Perspectives and Challenges”.

10th Silk Road International Conference aims to establish a forum of politicians, decision makers and academia in order to facilitate an intensive dialogue on the issues of European integration.

The opening remarks will be made by the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia - Janos Herman, economic advisor to the President of Georgia - Giorgi Abashishvili, Rector of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) – Maka Ioseliani, Director of the Information Centre on Nato and EU – Elene Gotsadze and notable guests from the universities of the United Kingdom, USA and Poland. Among the participants of the conference are the invited guests from the Caucasus region as well as other countries.
