The informational meeting and discussion on new advertising regulations in Law of Georgian on Broadcasting will be held on April 3rd at 3 P.M. in Frontline Georgia.
Amendments in the law will enter into force on April 1st, specified regulation in the law will enact in various stages during the coming 3 years. Based on the amendment in the law every broadcasting hour has a 20% commercial limit, which is 12 minutes in every hour. Sponsorship and advertising service terms will be separated.
According to the statement of the representatives of National Communication Commission, the law provides balanced segmentation of the advertising market, which will increase the revenue of print and online media.
