The photo exhibition by GIPA’s photography certificate course graduates was opened on March 23rd and is held in the Movie Theatre Amirani.
“Exhibition, that is a means of conducting a dialogue between photographers and society, will allow beginner photographers to present themselves and their vision to the wide audience” – noted photographer Mari Nakani on the opening ceremony.
During the Mari Nakani-Mamasakhlisi’s 3 month course, the students were introduced to the concept of assembling photo cameras and its technical capabilities; they were also getting familiar with the fundamentals of photography and its various courses; and searching their own trend.
The subject and the spectrum of the creative assignments performed by the course attendants were diverse. The students were taking portraits, auto portraits, and landscapes; they were working on updating movie scenes and mastering new technologies.
For the exhibition I See, 26 studio and commercial photos were selected, which are exhibited in the movie theatre Amirani until April 4.
